You can supply PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, TIFF, BMP, HEIC, PDF, AI, EPS, PSD or SVG files. If the file is not production-ready, we’ll explain what needs to change.

Frequently asked questions
Which custom keyring types can I choose?+

We offer hard enamel, soft enamel, die-struck metal and PVC rubber keyrings. If you are unsure, send us the design and we’ll help you compare the suitable options.

What is the minimum order for custom keyrings?+

The minimum order for custom keyrings is 20 pieces.

Which keyring is best for detailed artwork?+

For detailed artwork, the best fit depends on the design and intended size. Enamel suits defined colour areas, while PVC can accommodate colourful raised and recessed details. Send us the file and we’ll help compare the options.

What is the difference between hard and soft enamel keyrings?+

Hard enamel has a smooth face. On soft enamel keyrings, the colour sits lower than the metal outlines, giving the surface more texture.

Do I need finished artwork before I enquire?+

No. Send finished artwork, a sketch or the idea you are starting with. Artwork is free, and we’ll work through any changes with you before approval.

How long will my order take?+

Standard lead time is typically 3–4 weeks after artwork approval. Delivery is included with every order.

Can you help if I have a deadline?+

Express may be available where feasible. Include the required date with your first enquiry so it can be checked.

Look closely

Depth does the heavy lifting.

Without enamel or printing, everything comes down to how the artwork is translated into raised and recessed metal. That's where a good design becomes a great die struck keyring.

01
Raised areas catch the light while recessed sections create depth and contrast. We'll adapt your artwork so those different levels clearly define the important parts of your design.
02
Fine lettering and intricate lines need enough room to remain clear once they're reproduced in metal. We'll check your artwork at the intended size and suggest changes if anything is likely to get lost.

From your idea to something solid.

Before you ask

Questions about die struck keyrings.

From artwork and metal finishes to custom shapes and production, here's what you need to know before ordering.

Die-struck keyrings from the live page: cast aluminum keyring
What are die struck keyrings?+

Die struck keyrings are custom metal keyrings where the design is created using raised and recessed areas of metal rather than coloured enamel or printing. This produces a tactile, embossed-style finish with the metal itself forming the artwork.

How are die struck keyrings different from enamel keyrings?+

Both begin with a metal design, but enamel keyrings add colour into recessed areas. Die struck keyrings leave those areas unfilled, allowing the raised and recessed metal to create the finished design.

If you want colour, enamel is probably the better choice. If you want a traditional all-metal finish, die struck is hard to beat.

Can you make a die struck keyring from my company logo?+

Yes. Company logos work particularly well, especially designs that can be translated into clear raised and recessed areas. Send us your logo and we'll adapt it for production.

Can my keyring be a custom shape?+

Absolutely. We can create bespoke die struck keyrings that follow the outline of your logo, crest, emblem or artwork rather than limiting you to a standard shape.

Which metal finish is best for a die struck design?+

It depends on the look you're after. Bright gold and silver create a cleaner finish, while antique gold, silver and bronze add darker recessed areas that can make fine details more visible.

If you're unsure, show us your artwork and we'll recommend a finish.

Are die struck keyrings engraved?+

Not exactly. Although the recessed details can give them an engraved appearance, the design is formed by striking the metal to create raised and recessed areas rather than simply engraving lines into a finished keyring.

Are die struck keyrings suitable for detailed logos?+

Yes, within reason. Raised and recessed metal can reproduce impressive detail, but very fine lines or tiny lettering may need adjusting. We'll check your artwork before production and recommend any changes needed.

Can you put text on a die struck keyring?+

Yes. Names, dates, slogans and other lettering can be incorporated into the metal design. The available space and minimum detail will depend on the size of the keyring and the amount of text.

What are die struck keyrings good for?+

They're particularly popular for corporate merchandise, club keyrings, commemorative pieces, anniversary gifts, membership merchandise, events and designs where a traditional all-metal appearance suits the artwork.

What is the minimum order?+

Our minimum order for custom die struck keyrings is just 20 pieces, making smaller bespoke runs possible alongside larger promotional orders.

Do I need to provide production-ready artwork?+

No. Send us your logo, sketch, reference image or existing artwork and we'll prepare it for die struck production. Artwork and revisions are included.

How long do custom die struck keyrings take?+

Standard production is typically 3–4 weeks after artwork approval. If you're working towards a fixed date, let us know when requesting your quote so we can check what's possible.

How detailed can a printed patch be?+

Printing allows substantial visual detail, but a finished patch still has physical dimensions. We will check tiny text and microscopic details at actual size.

A little more detail

Why choose custom die struck keyrings?

Sometimes the best way to make a design stand out is to take the colour away.

Custom die struck keyrings use raised and recessed metal to recreate your artwork, giving the finished piece a tactile, embossed-style appearance. Rather than filling the recessed sections with enamel, the metal is left exposed so shape, depth, texture and plating become the focus.

It's a particularly effective option for company logo keyrings, club crests, commemorative keyrings, anniversary merchandise, membership gifts and bespoke promotional keyrings. Designs can range from simple lettering and logos to much more detailed emblems and illustrations.

The plating you choose can dramatically change the result. Bright gold or silver gives the design a cleaner appearance, while antique metal finishes introduce darker recessed areas that emphasise the raised details and create a more traditional look.

Your keyrings aren't limited to standard shapes either. We can produce custom-shaped metal keyrings that follow the outline of your logo, badge, crest or artwork, helping the finished piece feel genuinely bespoke rather than like a stock keyring with branding added to it.

And there's no need to prepare specialist artwork yourself. Send us your existing logo, illustration, sketch or reference and we'll adapt it for die struck production. We'll determine how the raised and recessed areas should work, prepare the artwork and let you review everything before manufacturing starts.

With orders starting from just 20 pieces, our bespoke die struck keyrings are suitable for independent organisations and small clubs as well as businesses ordering larger quantities of branded merchandise.

Artwork and revisions are included, standard production is typically 3–4 weeks from approval, and delivery is included too.

If you're looking for a custom metal keyring with a premium all-metal finish, die struck could be exactly what your design needs.
