Design

Need help with your design?

The artwork service is included. We can develop a design from a finished file, logo, sketch or written description, and we’ll work through any changes with you before approval.

What file format should I send?

You can supply PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, TIFF, BMP, HEIC, PDF, AI, EPS, PSD or SVG files. If the file is not production-ready, we’ll explain what needs to change.

Not sure about your design, or want us to take a look? Send us an enquiry and we’ll give it a free once-over.

Frequently asked questions
Which custom keyring types can I choose?+

We offer hard enamel, soft enamel, die-struck metal and PVC rubber keyrings. If you are unsure, send us the design and we’ll help you compare the suitable options.

What is the minimum order for custom keyrings?+

The minimum order for custom keyrings is 20 pieces.

Which keyring is best for detailed artwork?+

For detailed artwork, the best fit depends on the design and intended size. Enamel suits defined colour areas, while PVC can accommodate colourful raised and recessed details. Send us the file and we’ll help compare the options.

What is the difference between hard and soft enamel keyrings?+

A hard enamel keychain, also called a keyring, has a smooth face. On soft enamel keyrings, the colour sits lower than the metal outlines, giving the surface more texture.

Do I need finished artwork before I enquire?+

No. Send finished artwork, a sketch or the idea you are starting with. Artwork is free, and we’ll work through any changes with you before approval.

How long will my order take?+

Standard lead time is typically 3–4 weeks after artwork approval. Delivery is included with every order.

Can you help if I have a deadline?+

Express may be available where feasible. Include the required date with your first enquiry so it can be checked.

Pick the metal that makes it pop.

The exposed metal forms the outlines, edges and smaller details of your design, so changing the plating can completely change the character of the finished keyring.

Look closely

The little details make a big difference.

Hard enamel works best when every element has enough room to breathe. The finished keyring might be small, but that doesn’t mean your idea has to be.

01
Logos, lettering and key features need to remain clear once the artwork is reduced to keyring size. We’ll check the design and help simplify anything that could get lost.
02
Metal lines separate the enamel colours and become part of the finished artwork. We’ll make sure those lines complement the design rather than simply squeezing them in.

From idea to finished keyring.

Hard enamel keyrings: keychain with backing card
What are hard enamel keyrings?+

Hard enamel keyrings are custom metal keyrings filled with coloured enamel. The enamel is polished level with the surrounding metal, creating the smooth, flat finish that distinguishes hard enamel from soft enamel.

What's the difference between hard and soft enamel keyrings?+

Hard enamel has a smooth surface because the enamel sits level with the metal lines. With soft enamel, the coloured areas sit slightly lower, leaving the metal outlines raised and giving the keyring a more textured feel.

Can you make a keyring from my logo?+

Absolutely. Send us your logo and we'll adapt it for enamel production. We can also work from illustrations, sketches, reference images or even an idea that hasn't been fully designed yet.

Can my keyring be a custom shape?+

Yes. The outside edge can follow the shape of your logo, character or artwork. If a simpler outline would work better, we'll talk you through that during the artwork stage.

Which colours can I use?+

Your design can contain multiple enamel colours. We'll prepare the artwork around your chosen palette and make sure the different colour areas work with the metal outlines required for enamel production.

Which metal finishes are available?+

There are plenty to choose from, including gold, silver, bronze, copper, nickel, black and various antique and speciality finishes. If you're unsure, we can recommend a plating that works well with your artwork.

What is the minimum order?+

Our minimum order for custom hard enamel keyrings is just 20 pieces.

Do I need finished artwork?+

No. Send whatever you have—a finished logo, rough sketch, reference image or simply the idea. We'll prepare the production artwork and work through revisions with you free of charge.

How long do hard enamel keyrings take to make?+

Our standard lead time is typically 3–4 weeks after artwork approval. Delivery is included. If you're working towards a particular date, tell us when you enquire and we'll check whether an express turnaround is possible.

How detailed can a printed patch be?+

Printing allows substantial visual detail, but a finished patch still has physical dimensions. We will check tiny text and microscopic details at actual size.

A little more detail

Why choose custom hard enamel keyrings?

Hard enamel keyrings are a great choice when you want custom merchandise that feels polished, substantial and made to be kept. Your artwork is recreated in coloured enamel, surrounded by metal outlines and polished to create the characteristic smooth hard enamel finish.

That combination works particularly well for company logos, club crests, illustrations, characters and bold graphic designs. The keyring itself can follow the shape of your artwork, while different plating finishes let you change the look of the exposed metal around the colours.

And you don't need to know how to prepare artwork for enamel production. Send us your logo, illustration, sketch or reference and we'll take it from there. Production artwork and revisions are included, and you'll see and approve everything before your keyrings are made.

Orders start at just 20 keyrings, making them suitable for smaller clubs, independent brands and creators as well as larger promotional runs. Standard production is typically 3–4 weeks from artwork approval, with delivery included.

Whether you're creating branded keyrings for your business, merchandise for an event, something for your members or a new product to sell, we'll help turn the original idea into a finished hard enamel keyring you're happy to put your name on.
